Custom Designed Courtyard Gate with a Cast Glass Ocean Wave Theme
I designed and created this cast glass courtyard gate with a breaking ocean wave motif for a private residence in San Diego. It measures 95” x 47” and has a locking mechanism for security, and it functions as a gate or door leading into an entryway courtyard. The ocean themed art is an homage to San Diego's picturesque coastal scenery.
This design provides the functional quality of cast glass privacy while adding an eye catching design element to this beautiful custom residence. The owners sought out Art Glass and Metal Studios for their ability to add beauty and function to detailed glass projects, along with expert custom installation by the artist to ensure that the piece works as designed and stands the test of time.
